Description

Well, here it is; the completed creation.  *Takes deep breath* Happy Birthday Charlie!!  I really don’t know what to say or, more explicitly, how to phrase it.  I want to just take a moment and…thank him.  I’ve probably, or more than likely, said this a million times, but I legitimately can’t fathom my life before I discovered him.  It all seems so ambiguous and vague and…opaque almost when I attempt to think back before last September.

Today to the date, 114 years ago Charlie Chaplin was born on April 16, 1889 in Walworth, United Kingdom to music hall performers Charles Chaplin Sir and Hannah Hill.  Can you believe it?  He was born in the 19th century.  That’s just...*mind blown*

And now, let me delineate the reason why I am graciously gratified.  He taught me how to keep going.  Sometimes, even when there are tears streaming down your cheeks and you feel like just literally letting everything asphyxiate you and pull you under, you have to just get back up, straightened your bowtie, brush off your jacket, fix your hat, and smile.  He once said, “Life may be dreary but never the same.”  That started a snowball effect of my thoughts.  I began tumbling down a figurative hill of reason and I had come to the conclusion that life may suck sometimes.  Sometimes it will suck so bad you can’t suppress the tears any longer but it will get better.  Everything does in the end.  It'll all be okay, I promise.  Take my word for it.

Happy birthday, Charlie.

It is a beautiful drawing and your description is almost as wonderful as the art.
I always like to read personal stories about how Chaplin has touched lives!
Bravo! Heart
